I haven't been this excited about a release in a long time. Mumford & Sons have a sound unlike anything I've ever heard. Think soul and instrumentation of the Avett Brothers before Rick Rubin robbed them of their sound mixed with the harmonies and big arrangements of Fleet Foxes. If I were to put this in a genre I'd say it falls in between bluegrass and indie folk. Oh yeah, did I mention they're from London? Highlights of the album are tough to pick; the entire release is impressive. If I had to pick I'd say the top tracks are The Cave, Roll Away Your Stone, and White Blank Page.
